The Children’s Healing Institute is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to healing the mind, body and spirit of children & families in our community.

• Doors opened in 1988 with the help of the National Exchange Club (Florida)
  
  
• Established programs in Palm Beach
   and Broward County
  
  
• Grew from providing services to 42 families in
  1988 to 4,000 families in 2008 

The mission of The Children’s Healing Institute is to prevent child abuse,promote pediatric health and strengthen families.

• The safety, health and well-being of children and families can easily be compromised when internal and external resources are limited or there is a sudden change in family dynamic or circumstances.
  
  
• Countless families in our community are faced with the challenges of inadequate medical care or assistance, limited education, under-developed coping skills, financial hardship, poor health, lack of social support, insufficient knowledge, or change in family structure.
  
  
• Our programs are specifically designed to meet
  the needs of these families and fulfill our mission.

The Children’s Healing Institute  is comprised of credentialed and experienced professionals, trained volunteers and leadership that is committed to the mission of the organization and needs of the community.

• As an established non-profit, the organization
  has cultivated diverse, formal and informal partnerships.
  
  
• The organization has collaborated with national and local non-profits, schools, hospitals, medical professionals, local businesses, and law enforcement agencies, enabling more children
  and families in need to receive services and support.

Our programs are made possible through private and corporate donations, fundraising events and grants.
