Life can be overwhelming at times. Today's families wear many hats. Some families are effective with all the hats they wear and others have some difficulty. They find themselves isolated, or been grandparents taking care of grandchildren, single mother/father, teen parents, parents of many children, or they themselves were abused/neglected. Sometimes there is no one to turn to and parents do the best they can. But now there is someone to count on for suggestions and guidance, a Parent Child Youth Mentor! Our mentors are thoroughly screened, evaluated, trained and supervised by our agency.
Families with children attending elementary schools in the Palm Beach County School District area are qualified to participate in the Parent Child Youth Mentoring Program. Families should not have an active domestic violence situation, be a DJJ or DCF case. Contact Michelle Rodriguez, Mentor Supervisor for an intake appointment at (561) 585-1650 ext. 108 if you are interested in obtaining services for your family. If you are a provider and would like to refer a family please contact Michelle to obtain a referral form which can be faxed to (561) 585-4668.
